This was also taken at Devils Den State Park in Arkansas on the dam made of stones that I mentioned in the description of another photo that I took of Lee Creek. This dam was destroyed by a flash flood. I haven't seen the damage, but I hope that the large stones may be put back in place to make it like it used to be. A lot of the structures at this park were built by the Civilian Conservation Corps long ago. I don't want to estimate when because I don't remember dates well and would probably be wrong. The stones are so large that I don't see how they moved them into place. I have a huge appreciation for anything created by human hands, whether it be stone work, woodwork, drawing, painting, or even sewing. To me it is all a work of art.
