People ask what's a honey Bee doing when it visits a Flower such as this one that's ,wow a gold mine of nectar & pollen,,,well it actually wiggles in & out as it brushes thru all the pollen ,it has pockets in its body & legs which fill up,it's sort of electrodes ,as the pollen dust is attracted by the Honey Bee,It gathers up the nectar as much as her body & legs can carry to her hive ,in which she makes Honey for her young.carefully regurgitating into a cell then sealing it with a wax that she also regurgitated to make.Hoey comes in different shades from white to Dark brown depending on the Flowers,,,Canola Flowers make a very ple yellow honey whereas Glover,Alpine flowers make a much darker & tastier honey with lots of Flavour.

HoneyBees re very much attracted to these Showy Blossoms ,that look like Pincushions,,,,these hold a lot a nectar & pollen,belongs to our HoneySuckle Family,you would never know that as they look so different,Wonderful Colour ,
