Artist Reply: I had some simple dry mountainscape at the background...unsatisfied with the 'dryness'...I changed them to Waterfall Hills....by wetting and soaking the sands...the elk and deer can mirror themselves...when I was much younger..I had thought saying " you must be at that spot to paint that spot " Im saying to the younger painter...once you ve mastered your highlights...tones and shapes...just your mind will be bringing you anywhere to finish all the wanted spots
