We have these Coots out here ,very diffent from ducks,they don't quack but make anther kind of sound ,I see them on land quite a bit as they are vegetarians & eat roots & leaves in the marsh lands

Always so beautiful to see a mother & there off Spring together in Wild life Nature. It's so touching,you can almost feel the affection they have for each other as the mom yes to teach the young the basics ,in swimming eating & hiding & to be still when needed to be ,,,I see this at times when thee is a dog around the mother calls her young that there is danger & the young one Quickly swims over to mom & goes under her wings ,other times when the young ones are much older & larger the mother calls out for danger & all the young in the middle of the pond swim into the protection of the weeds & cat tails ,yes fast learners. Beautiful Photo,,,stay WELL,stay safe & healthy,,,yesterday I realized that one image was not a honeybee but AGAIN an imagine of that green emerald Bug,but my we site is not what it used to be that is why I haven't painted for some time ,also my hands at times show arthritis ,so I gave you all that information about the Honey Be,oh well you got educated about our wonderful Bees which I really enjoy when you show them on Flowers ,now you know what these pollinators do in there life time of hard work.
