Grand Canyon of Yellowstone

This is a print of my original gouache-watercolor painting. The falls in the painting are of the Lower Falls of the Yellowstone River in the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, which is about 14,000 years old. The canyon is 800 to 1,200 feet deep and 1,500 to 4,000 feet wide. The canyon below the Lower Falls was at one time the site of a geyser basin that was the result of lava flows and extensive faulting. This is a great gift for the hiker or backpacker.
