I often paint from the mind's eye, when I have a strong image to start from. I use reference photographs for assistance plus my memory of such places. This is a place of my creation only. I scanned the painting and compiled the image from 6 files. This forced me to balanced the final image in the computer, so the portfolio image is a bit choppy. Acrylic on canvas board, 14" x 18"; 1999.
