C@2001-2014 H: 27"x L: 24"x W: 15" original one of a kind hand painted, gold gilded 3-D wood carving… a work in progress since 2001 - Completed in 2014 This is the artist's own original new Art-form: One of twelve - The Stabile Objet d'art. Started in 1983. There are twelve stabiles in total, 6 completed, Each of these three sided carvings is a different size… the largest of which is 7 ft tall. The original working model/mauquette for the first Stabile is only 11 inches tall. This particular stabile is titled: "The Ode to Joy" homage to Beethoven's Ninth Symphony. It will feature a Hyper-Cross made with hundreds of precious gemstones set in argentium silver, vermiel and 18k white gold. The cross is currently in progress. This is a commissioned work and is not going to be for sale. There are 7 other stabiles in the works at various stages of development… if only in preliminary drawing states.
