Tartaria Tablets is a work of art that tries to immerse the viewer in the Neolithic culture materialized in artefacts found in the Western part of Romania, in the tomb of a priestess. The tablets contain a very ancient, sacred pictographic writing, insufficiently deciphered, with astral and agricultural symbols. They reveal cultural synchronization of Europe and Asia, with reciprocal influences, since the symbols engraved on the tablets are common to both areas. The technique used is acrylic on canvas by juxtaposing complementary colours-blue and orange, a combination meant to bring to light the magic, fascinating powers of the tablets.
