The humble Sparrow, sadly I see very few in my garden these days. Plenty of Tits ( all types), all types of Buntings, Woodpeckers, Warblers, Treecreepers , Red and Blackcaps. In fact, all species on the feeding station, but very few Sparrows.
Yes i feed sparrows everyday and i have water for them also , Have done this for long time . Amazing is they never try to have a bath in the shallow dish ,In nz they always they were always in the water !Sparrows are in every country i have been including pacific islands
It's fascinating to watch these little brown birds that enjoy living close to humans ,you don't find them in forests or deserts,There are so many different kinds of species as you can identify them by there markings.
Beautiful social hard working in there family structure. They are good luck if they build there nest on your tree.Wonderful to watch them fly back & forth finding the perfect home to build there nest ,a wonderful song bird.Great Photo.
