Winter in the Village Watercolour Painting by Steven Cronin

I painted this winter scene from an image I saw on the internet so there’s no reference photo. The roofs of the houses are white in blanket snow. I was going to use a clean damp flat brush to remove the paint but the card scrapes equally well. I know some would use masking fluid but there’s too much phaffing around for me what with all the stickiness and waiting around for it to dry so I’ve always tried to find quicker ways of achieving the same results.
