Sailing along the Shores of My Imagination

In this work i attempted to show in a surreal representation my imagination at work while i create. I wanted it to come across as an experience that is fun, exciting, and at times humorous. As i work my head fills up with many cosmic thoughts and i feel like a child and wanted to convey this feeling as best i can. I show my stretched head on a boat as it sails along the water which represents the subconscious as boats that carry parts of my mind sail into the nucleus of my imagination and in the end the growth of a creative idea culminates as a green stem of ideas from the middle. The purple hand represents a higher powers assistance as it pushes down from the heavens. Copyright 2004 by imaginative pencil and myself. All rights reserved.
