Artist Reply: Thankyou so much Nira,This I painted I believe last winter,we were maybe 50 km./30miles from my place in a gorgeous Cabin & this was the view ,so basically I painted on Site,had a huge dump of snow,but the next day Sun came out melted everything away it was GREEN. WOW,what a difference it was,it was if you Google ,,,,CANMORE,ALBERTA you'll see the touresty area of all of this.Im very Thankful for all of this every day.

Reminds me of a visit to Glacier Lake many moons ago, Al. A blizzard came up and we had to follow a snow plow all the way into Idaho. Being from Texas, that was a big adventure though we wouldn't have called it that at the time. Love the knife work here. Hope all is good where you are. :)

Artist Reply: Marie,Thank-you for viewing my gallery & Thank-you for the Compliment,as I set out to make it feel & Look COLD,. Well it seems as though I did accomplish that,in reality 30cm/ 1 foot of snow dumped overnight this beautiful green area,& temp.dropped to -40c or -40 F.,the green ,blue water turned to ice.,then 2 days later the sun came out & melted Everything & it all turned to Green again.
