Double Yolk

This is my first Oil painting. I'm actually very satisfied about how it came out. My Title idea was to call it Chicken Nuggets .... but during the time I had to wait for it to dry, I happened one morning to be cooking eggs for breakfast and every now and then it happens when you crack a large egg open that you get a suprise ..... 10"(25cm) x 8"(20cm) Oil on stretched canvas. Framed in a Bas-Relief worked frame to compliment the drawing.

for a 1st i'm very impressed. never could get the hang of oils (though i did spend a summer redoing some monstrously huge antique ceiling medallions in an old castle about 20 feet up in the air and that was fun-felt like michael angelo on a happy with paint thinners-regretably didn't get any photos) LOVE the title although chicken nuggets, while a little morbid would have worked well. on the thumb print i thought it was a photo.
