Yet another in the infamous envelope series. These were drawn quickly one after the other, though like the Japanese, I moved from right to left. The paper is 3.5 by 8.5 inches so each one is quite small. Which one reminds you of a Hopi dancer? The big guy on the right interests me and I might do something more with him. More little squiggly wigglies from the hand of Original Jones Art. If it isn't original then it's a close facsimile here in the land of infinite derivatives, Austin, Texas.

My african experiences makes me think about this one in terms of naive African art, especially Makonde ebony carvings.

Artist Reply: Hmmm. Yes, I can see where you are coming from, Nikolay. I have quite a few African masks and small statues around the place. I like their authentic honesty, as well as the mark of the individual. Nice perspective. THANKS!
