Swans Australian bird Art Susan Willemse

This artwork is special because it literally took two people to create, my husband took these delightful images when I was at work one weekend screening slides to detect early cancer in the laboratory, it was also my husband who framed this artwork. The good thing was that a week later I was able to find the same birds a little bigger and greyer but just as delightful so I did get to see the Cygnets riding on the backs of these beautiful parents and they reminded me of Perth as they are Perth's National bird. Teenage Black swans are grey and a lot larger. I do find it fascinating that Black swans have white feathers on their wing tips- sometimes only visible when they fly. You can see the framed artwork in my online Australian birds art Gallery at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QTWWlCITHOM
