Biological Fusion

Wanted to show a workshop setting where god has commissioned an artist to create the mechanics of man. In this work i show a finished upper torso on the shelf in the upper right corner and a work is progress on a coat rack type wooden platform. Within the creation i also wanted to show the relationship of nature to the creation of the human body asa blueprint to the overall design hence the muscles actually become birds and leaves sort of like perched within a tree. If you look closely, the skin of the right arm is actually tacked to the wall awaiting its final layering. Copyright 2004 by Imaginative Pencil and myself. All rights reserved.
