A goat can sell for anything between Kenya Shillings 3,000 (about USD 30) and Kenya Shillings 8,000 (about USD 80) depending on size and age, among other factors. Traders pay a market entry fee of Kenya Shillings 50 per animal to the county government which is in charge of the market.
