Looking for Rocky

A Moose that was grazing in a stand of willow bushes in The Grand Teton National Park in Autumn. There is a slight haze in the background caused by a smodering fire which was started by a lightening strike.Autumn time is when these animals are in what is called rut. Where they are actively looking for mates and sparring with other Bulls. They are in their most dangerous period to be around. Although they may look gentle and cute, they can stomp a person to death in just moments (especialy during rut. They are the largest animal of the Deer,Elk etc family
