Acrylic painting in a quick, loose manner often starts as a plein air painting. Creating art centers me. Frustration, transitions, personal challenges, political divides... whatever life presents, I use art as a means to process, move through, and transform it all into something more beautiful. I enjoy the abstract appearance of moss forming on trees. It's biophilia: a connection to the natural world.
