I was the publisher of Deer & Deer Hunting magazine, published by The Stump Sitters. I presented the ideas shown in this art to Fred Schmidt, as my intentions were to make 8 illustrations all with the excitement shown for the sport of deer hunting. This art depicted the activity in a small town the day before hunting season. It was the second print of the plan for 8, but the magazine was sold and the project never was finished. I was the co-founder of The Stump Sitters and Deer & Deer Hunting magazine and took up art as a hobby after retiring. Copies 15 x 20 available, $125.00.
