This historic tunnel at Montgomery Alabama s riverfront goes under the active train tracks and had been closed for many years and reopened in the 1990's as Montgomery be gain redevelopment of its riverfront. Slaves were brought through the tunnel off the ships and walked up court street to the fountain to be sold. The painting is in oil on canvas and measures 10" X 20".
