Something different for the gallery here. I am just learning to use colored pencil, this is the second portrait I've done in them. So it was just a practice piece, but I still think it's kinda cute. Haha. Prismacolors and Col-erase pencils on Stonehenge beige paper. It's very large, about A3 in size, so I had to take a digicam pic instead of scan again. Enjoy.

Very cute portrait. Outstanding as a 'practice piece'. If you take it outside and snap your digital pic in daylight (no flash), it won't have that washed out and shadowy perimeter effect. I'm just figuring this out myself...

adorable. Very well done. A little more work on the fluff around her neck and perhaps some shading in the background, around her would help her stand out more from the paper.... I think it's fantastic.
