I did this as a quick test. Flipping through my many reference photos I wanted to find something not too complicated to try out these new woodless graphite pencils that I picked up. All I can say is wow !!!! they are like butter. Smooth and dark ... exellent pencils. It's nice that you can shade with them as they form a chisel shape to cover a wider area. My only minor complaint was that I seemed to get a bit more graphite on my hands than with regular pencils. Not a big deal as I'm used to having to watch the areas that I've already drawn over, being lefthanded I usually work from right to left or from the center and rotate outwards. I've always known that next to a pretty face, a woman's bottom was the next major trait that attracted me to someone, but a woman's back is magic. The smooth flowing curves is just devine. Can it be that I'm a backman ??? Hmmmm ...

John - this is wonderful - lovely curves and texture - it's almost like the feel of the graphite led you to a drawing like this one. I'm a lefty too. We're special!

My boyfriend has used the woodless pencils you're talking about. He also uses what I call "leadless pencils" which are just paper blenders that look like pencils. They are great if you want a smooth look, but I really like the rough look of your pencil work. The accuracy is still obvious, but it looks more like hand-made artwork. I love the jeans too. I think artists should draw more people in jeans. I've tried to tell my boyfriend that, but he draws what he wants. Ha! I'm adding you to my art watch list!
