We spent last Sunday afternoon at the Jamestown Settlement, where there is a replica of ships, of the original settlement in the 1700's, the Indian village the settlers first met. There was so much going on: a military re-inactment over a 1000 year period, including the two of 3 colonial ships, the colonial villages always have people in the old garb too! Please look at those photos. Have a wonderful day to all my friends!

Fantastic,to be able to take us back in History ,as how our settlers lived it's Fascinating, what a leaning Place ,how they worked, ploughing the fieds with horses, but first you had to clear the land from trees & stumps & debris what back breaking work, wood stoves no electricity no running water,,,,it's a treasure to spend time in these places of our heritage Really takes you back in time,so those of us that have lived & worked on a farm life know somewhat what it's like but of course today our tech.is very modern to this. Wonderful photos & Thanks for Opening our eyes again to Memories of the past,Maria Anna Machado 22 Mar 2018
