Grandpa Chuck Building our house

Original oil painting of my dad, R.Charles Lamb who always sat at our card table building puzzles. This "puzzle" is of our family home in Kenosha, Wisconsin. On the table beside him is his well used crossword puzzle dictionary, his other favorite passion. When beginning his painting a red lady bug decided to continually pay me a visit landing on the canvas and on my hand and arm several times. It also swarmed my head one day after working on the painting. What was quite amazing about this was the fact that whenever my parents returned to the home after wintering in Arizona the house was filled with lady bugs. My father passed away in May 2016. The painting measures 24" x 24".
