Sleeping Angel

This is a portrait I did for a customer of her son. It's 9x12" on bristol board and I used charcoals, graphites and some pastels for the coloring. When I scanned it, I lost a lot of shadows, but I'm sure you'll get the general idea. This little guy is just soooo cute, I loved drawing him. Hopefully you all will enjoy this too.

Amber, as always this is so soft n beautiful, I love the old look of the coloring n light use, I have seen phto studios 30 yrs. ago that had a technique much like this, maybe 45 yrs. ago, when I was a child I have seen this kind of style. I think it is wonderful that u have brought it back with a new twist, more contrast in your shading which makes your images more pure looking. Cheers n have a good day. I admire your art. CB
