Artist Reply: MERCI pour ta visite, en effet c'est une fleur magnifique mais d'une odeur infecte de poisson pourri , sur laquelle les mouches viennent pondre , comme une étoile de mer morte, celle ci est en Martinique chez ma mère depuis des années , j'avais ramené un plant il y a quelque temps mais il n'a pas survécu .. j'ai renoncé . mais j'adore

Artist Reply: Thanks so much for your visit and comment , this plant is a STAPELIA GIGANTEA or STAR FISH FLOWER . This is a kind of cactus . The flowers are very beautiful but smell as bad as rotten fish and fool the flies . However i like the flowers very much , this one is my mother's i tried to grow one in Paris ... no success ..
