Artist Reply: Thanks, Sharon....it's Medusa's pet from the film CLASH OF THE TITANS, the original film, with special effects by my hero, RAY HARRYHAUSEN. It was the Harryhausen special effects fest of THE 7TH VOYAGE OF SINBAD back in 1958 that got my excited about art...My mom (Jewel Flowers) was a pin-up model for Rolf Armstrong and when I was very very young I would sit and watch him work....I learned from him, but it was the dinosaurs and monsters in the various Harryhausen films that inspired me to get up and start doodling! So I have been doing this type of stuff since I was 6 years old. (Sure, my first T-rex looked like a duck with bad dentures, but I was on my way!!!! :D )
