Artist Reply: Thanks Thom. Mom (Reba McDonald) always encouraged me to use or at least get familiar with palette knife, so when I started this painting, I started mixing my paint with the palette knife, and kept on using it... for the whole painting ~!! I am also experimenting with Acrylics and mediums... Very different from oil :) Still re-discovering my new me after the trauma of 2011...
