Artist Reply: Most of the things I like to paint are a reaction to something or other. I painted this, in oils working from photographs (I'm sure you understand) I just grasp a passing inspiration and colour what its atmosphere feels like. You are too kind and I thank you for it. , I'm about ready to visit my easel for the first time in 3 years...your silhouette painting of the children in the trees has added some impetus to something I've been daydreaming about.
