I once did a scratch board thing...its was neon pink underneath...but it turned out terrible. Those things are so hard to do. Great job!

I just came upon your portfolio and I think your work here is marvelous. I do scratchart, too, but have never used the silver foil board, only claybord black from Ampersand. Your skill is most admirable.

Artist Reply: Claybord from Ampersand is by far better quality than the ones that come with silver/gold underneath. They are thinner and weaker - not nearly as workable. However, the end result is quite amazing, especially in person, when you can tip the picture to catch different angles of light. Very reflective and shimmery. :)

This is excellent. In a way the reflection on the silver adds a different perspective. Picture this; asleep under the stars in the jungle, a noise awakens you and you switch on your torch! :-0
