Beach Naxos

This is the view from the beach at Naxos - Taormina and Castelmola clinging to the Tauro mountain above the bay. Giardini Naxos has two beaches, one is the Recanati Beach and the other is the one in the center, at the main beach-road, Lungomare. The beautiful town of Taormina is situated in the hills above Giardini and can be easily accessed by car and bus. http://www.dominicistudios.com/

I know that place very well !!! I have been there twice as I had a friend in Giardini!! A very nice memory of my stays in Sicilia !!! Thank you for this wonderful painting, Teresa !!!!

Artist Reply: Thank you Marie-Claire, we were also very fortunate to have traveled through Palermo in 2011 and spent a day at the Giardini. What prompt me to do this painting now, few month ago I was at the Pet-store and met an Italian-American lady and she mentioned her mom was from over there.
