The Happy Couple - 60 years ago!

Commissioned drawing. 60th Wedding Anniversary piece. One of my toughest pieces to date. This is A3 in size. The reference photo was a photograph taken of an open photograph album, with the 60 year old, tiny photo inside it. I've never worked from such a reference photo, and wasn't sure I'd manage, but they were made up with the results.

Artist Reply: Thank you! I really did surprise myself with this piece. I didn't expect it to look anywhere near as nice as it did. I was dreading starting it for weeks, but I'm so glad I took on the challenge. The happy couple receive their surprise this weekend, I hope they can see it at 84 haha!
