Urban steamtram

Till about a hundred years ago the urban railway depended on steam. At first they only transported goods, later also passengers. Most of the old photos I discovered, shows vehicles surround by a thick, fatty cloud of black steam blown out of a short pipe. They where surrely not the most eco-friendly machines crossing our cities. I think it was a relief when electricity took over. Image size: 260 x 360 mm
