Thanks go out to the Nicolet Bird Club of Three Lakes for organizing a weekend of birding events. One interesting activity in the Thunder Lake Marsh was Bruce Bacon’s catching and banding of birds. Pictured is a “least flycatcher”. After it was banded it remained in one of the participants hands for several minutes because it didn’t realize it was free to go!
