Torn

My soul is torn. It isn't easy feeling to express&. Try this: If one would look inside ones mind, into the corner that has been long forgotten. What would one see? What would one comprehend? Would order be there or chaos? Would be that beautiful or frightening? WHAT would that be&&?

Without being in touch with the essence of soul, there is no growth. Order and chaos are part of life and essential to psychological growth. Without pain, there is no birth of consciousness. Exploring your torn soul is both beautiful and frightening and I suspect you have the courage to explore the multi-dimensions of your soul and psyche. That is what makes you such a creative and gifted artist. Alexandra, I love your work. It is so surreal and the images are arresting. Torn reminds me of the work of Bosch and Dali.

Amazing work - it's frightful yet beautiful at the same time! I dare not go into that corner of my mind - you are very brave.

Artist Reply: Thank you! I think though, we all visit that corner or our minds at one point or another, it's whether we quickly pass through or stop to analyze it, makes a difference. But I am not too brave to extend my stay there; it might push me into insanity.

Autoanalysis thru art...wondrous for the viewer, but perilous for the artist...thanks for taking the risk; your gallery was well worth the journey! :)

Artist Reply: I'm glad you enjoyed it. And thank you one more time for all your kind and honest comments.
