Crystal Creek Water Ditch 2

A closer shot of what is left of the dam portion of the Crystal Creek Water Ditch at Whiskeytown National Park. If you look closely you can see the rocks intermingled in the decomposed granite that was used in the construction of the ditch. The actual ditch is miles long. You can see ont he right, a small portion of the wall. There is also still some of the wall on the left of the picture. It is partially obscured by the foliage and shadows. Out of the range of the shot on the right is the old wood flood gate that was used.
