I'm again asking for some help from Terragen artists. I tried several times to give it more texture. I used grass and rock and also grass and snow. The two smaller rocks/hills are good but the large one, I feel, needs more texture. Did I do something wrong? How can I accomplish this? Thank you for your comments on my previous Terragen images. All constructive critiqes are greatfully accepted. Have a great day and a great week-en.

Since you made this some time ago, and I have seen more recent work, it looks like you have solved the problem to some extent. One thing I do that helps is to make child layers that are nearly the same color as the parent. I also render very large (you need the registered version to do that). Make lots of layers, and vary their altitude, etc. Greens need to be toned down as a general rule. I hope that helps.Tina Day 29 Oct 2004
