Storms and Sun in the Shadow of Marblehead Light

The title pretty much describes this visit to the very unique Marblehead, Massachusetts lighthouse. Dramatic skies prevailed all day, until a little peek of sun showed just in time for sunset. The architectural details of the lighthouse seemed to add some order to a disorderly sky. No filters or manipulation of image.

It looks like you were walking to get som depth clues and the light just wouldn't give it...perhaps you could've lit up the back of the tower in postwork and that would have got you the light you were looking for.
