Love a good forced perspective... This is as comfortable as looking down into a Koi pond... I really like the dark vignette of the statue in the foreground, its obscurity just intensifies the amazing architectural and art details in the background. The radiating curves coming down from the ceiling are like rays of detail, color and light flooding down into the high contrast colorless depths while the dark and featureless depth reaches up into the light seeking color and definition. You probably didn't think that particular idea through at the time... great images are rarely that preconceived... Well done...
