Artist Reply: Hi Anne Many thanks for your comment. You should try and visit Stonehenge if possible. I served many years in the army and was based within sight of this magical monument and it's many faces. At this time, the public were allowed free unrestricted access to walk among the stones. Today things have changed, access is restricted to a guided walkway and the public can get no closer than about 25 metres. I visited again a couple of years ago and had to pay admission fee.
