Perak in Memory

Anuar has cleverly put together local artifacts and the Malay architecture in his paintings to give rise to works depicting the Malay heritage. His innovative use of mixed media and the effect of aging that he creates add charm to his works. In the context of modern living his works are reminder of the days gone by. The quaint setting with the bicycle in some of his pieces brings back fond memories for many.
