Fishing Day 2 Cropped for C J

CJ stated she thought this would look better cropped to show more of the boy, So I will let the masses decide which one of the two versions they like best and keep that one in my portfolio. I liked the overall feeling of the first and that is why I cropped it that way but let see what everyone else thinks.

On the one hand, in the first shot the boy's trying to keep with his father is better felt. On the other hand, my original comment about what the boy feels is more obvious. Also, I feel a gap, a distance between the father and the boy. No connection.
