As these characters know, El Dia de Los Muertos is creeping up on them. They are diligently preparing for the arrival of their living cousins. Although they live on in their loved ones memories throughout the year, the dead know that this is their special time. They are sprucing up the joint anxiously awaiting the arrival of their loved ones. From the milagros in the back to the marigolds on the walls, everyone from the king to the dog is ready for the big day. *According to traditional Mexican beliefs, a person can die three deaths: the physical death, the death of the body, and the death of the memory. Never let the memory of your loved ones die! Copyright Misty Benson
