Southwards from the Laja River, announced by the rushing of its cascades and springs, comes the hygromorphic or wet zone. From there on, everything is green. The forest takes possession of the southern landscape. Trees grow in contentment under the torrential sign of water. Nature celebrates the planets furthest extremes endowing them with rich rainfall. The forest with its gigantic and small trees, the underbrush, vines, ferns, mosses and lichens come together to convoke paradise once again.
