This is a more than ten year old piece that I found in my drawers, full of youthful exuberance and some cartoonish joie-de-vivre. I felt a tad nostalgic when I uploaded this.
Artist Reply: Thanx for your comment! You seem to have an eye for the surreal and imaginative, at least as far as I can see judging from your portfolio...^_^
Interesting and innovating style. Why the stark contrast in heads and bodies?
Artist Reply: Thank you for your comment! Why the contrast? Well, I kinda like to play around with anatomical proportions for a, somewhat, surreal effect...
She has such a sweet soulful expression to be engaged in such bloody activity, X-Chel. I like that the environment though seemingly stone, ripples and bends like cloth. Though I do not know your age or nationality, it is apparent you have a well-defined internal story/vision you are telling and re-telling. Wait 'til you see pieces you did 40+ years back and that feeling of nostalgia will be, at the very least, cubed. :)
Artist Reply: Thank you, profusely, for your insightful and soulful comment! Also; it´s nice that someone like yourself has an advantage in experience, so you can report what a walk down Memory Lane will be for someone like me in the future, nostalgy-wise, that is! :P
