A Memory of Isolation is a
piece that explores the
interaction of humans with
each other in natural
environments. A study in the
way we all long for company in
the midst of solitude.
The idea of being alone in a crowd is a truism, I think, Erick. Humans interact and converse on such a trivial level, it makes one wonder when we'll break through to the next level of communication and understanding. Until then, it's so much easier for us to hate and kill each other---which could very well be a form of psychological projection: we are actually killing ourselves. Just a thought. Love this piece---so organic.
