I just adore colour, and it seems that when it's snowy and grey outside that I just need to surround myself with more colour to lift my spirits. When I was small I lived in the beautiful Fraser Valley near Vancouver, BC--lush and green, and lots of rain. On rainy days I would dress in my raincoat and boots, grab my umbrella, and tell my mom that I was "going for a stroll" to the mailbox. Ah, the fresh air, the smell of green things growing, the splash of my boots in the deep puddles!
