Tired of the humiliation of wearing yellow raincoats with matching boots or bumblebee costumes, she is finally taking matters into her own paws and creating a lovely ensemble worthy of a dog of her distinction. This one is dedicated to all of us who are, at some sad moment in life -- perhaps when having four yards cut of hot-pink zebra striped cotton we do not need but must have for such a good price -- are forced to admit that we are fabricaholics. When we find we have every conceivable space in our sewing rooms packed with various prints from flat-folds to the tiniest of scraps because....someday....we are going to make a quilt. When we cannot pass the fabric section in Walmart without just one quick peek at the new flannels which winds up being an hour-long perusal of all the aisles and which has on more than one occasion has threatened to put an accompanying child into a shopping-induced coma..... We know who we are and we know what we do. original 4 x 4 gallery-wrapped mini painting in the private collection of D Vanderkolk..
