Dark Kiss, 20 x 20, oil on linen I usually work on a painting until it has been completed. On occasion, I'll set a painting aside for some reason and complete it later. I began this Chocolate Kiss painting in June 2012, working on it and putting it aside several times. Finally (!), this oil painting came to a happy conclusion a few days ago in January 2013. I think it was the purple/magenta foil that caused my dilemma. This is not a color that is usually on my palette and I struggled getting the colors just right.
